Deliverance Church Donholm ("DC Donholm", "we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect when you use dcdonholm.org and how we handle it, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

1. What we collect

Forms you submit — name, other names, phone number, email address, date of birth/year, gender, marital status, occupation, and residence, when you register as a member, join a cell group or discipleship class, request child dedication, become a Kingdom Partner, register for a conference, or submit a contact message.
Giving — the M-Pesa phone number and the giving account/project you select when making a payment. Card-level payment details are processed by Safaricom (M-Pesa) and are not stored on this website.
Children's data — for child dedication requests we collect the child's name, date of birth, and gender, plus the accompanying parent/guardian details you provide.
Technical data — server logs that may include your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, kept for security and troubleshooting.
Optional marketing consent — a record of whether you asked to receive updates about church events and activities.

2. How we use your information

To process your registrations and follow up on them (membership, cell groups, discipleship, child dedication, partnership, conference attendance).
To process and receipt your giving and answer giving enquiries.
To respond to contact messages you send us.
To send you church updates via email or SMS — only if you ticked the consent box, and you may opt out at any time.
To keep the website and its payment flows secure.

3. Who we share it with

Your data is stored in the church's secure membership system and is accessible only to authorised church staff whose roles require it (e.g. office registration and partnership administration). We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. Payment confirmations flow between our payment provider (Safaricom) and our church management system purely to record transactions.

4. How long we keep it

Membership and giving records are retained for as long as needed for church administration and statutory record-keeping. Website server logs are kept for a rolling short period. You may ask us to delete information we no longer need.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to withdraw consent for marketing at any time; and to ask how your data is used. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
