Reconnected, Restored, and Alive The Easter story began in the Old Testament. Gen 3:8-10 ; Isaiah 59:1-2 You cannot know someone unless you have a relationship/fellowship with them; Adam and Eve knew God We celebrate Easter because blood was shed and our sins were taken away. Easter is about the initiation of God, we have fellowship with God because of His initiation. Exodus 12:7-13 God does not send anyone to hell or heaven, people choose where to spend eternity. Isaiah 53:5 The first miracle of Easter is reconnection back to God through Salvation. Luke 23:32-43 The only requirement of Salvation was shedding blood for atonement of sins. The second miracle of Easter is restoration to our rightful position as Christians. Ephesians 2:11-13 For a Christian to fall into sin is because of the choice they make to sin. The blood of Jesus removes sin and makes us alive in Him. Understanding our restoration dictates how we relate with God. You are God's right hand. We've got to rise up and stop just being members of the Church and identify a place to serve in the Church. Floods -Acts 17:16–The mountain of God's house must be established over all mountains. -We need to find people anywhere(at the market) not only at the synagogue. -We must be ready to answer to the philosophers on what we've read. -You're a proclaimer of foreign gods to those with their own religion when you choose the mountain of religion. (Christianity is the mystery to non-believers) -Don't be afraid because you're carrying a new doctrine and something new for people outside there(ref to 4 lepers) -Everybody in the world is very religious (acts 17:22)because Athens had the altar with the inscription TO THE UNKNOWN GOD (acts 16:23) John 4:9-Samaritan woman puts up a religious fight with Jesus Christ because He was a jew but Jesus answered that He is a living water which when she drinks can't get thirsty again.
