Home Cells

Home Cells

Acts 2:42 – And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Acts 2:46 – And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart.

The book of Acts highlights the tremendous growth the church experienced after the day of Pentecost. As much as we must attribute this growth to the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit, yet you can’t help but notice the emphasis on the fact that they had fellowship, met at homes and broke bread together. I believe the Holy Spirit is deliberately showing the significance of that growth to the fact that they met at homes and in small groups!

In Deliverance Church Donholm , Home cell ministry is committed to its vision;

A neighborhood filled with Gods’ presence.

Objective of the Home Cell fellowship:

To facilitate a forum where brethren can bond, encourage one another in scripture, inspire one another to good deeds, nurture and identify talents.

Home Cell fellowship is a place where brethren fellowship and bond with each other, build their faith in God, equip brethren for ministry, nurture gifting, pray for one another, stand with one another in times of joy and sorrow, share the word of God and evangelize. All these activities have created cohesive relationship between members, understanding and encouraging each other. We have also prayed together and seen prayers answered, sick getting healed, Marriages getting healed, hopeless getting encouraged.

Home cell fellowship is more than a gathering! It is a small group of people who look to each other and care for one another. It is a place to love others and where others love you. A home cell is like a family where we learn to trust one another, to be open and honest, to help others and to receive help, and to build each other up and develop good friendships.
