Say it until you see it
Your words have power. The book of proverbs records that the “power of life and death is in our tongues.” – Proverbs 18:21. Some of the greatest unutilized power in the life of a believer resides in their tongue. Power speaks to the ability to get something done or something moved. Jesus gave us a startling promise when he said that if we spoke to mountains they would actually move. – Mark 11:23. What you consistently speak, you will eventually see because you are created in the image of God. God sees what he says and since you are created in the same order, you need to use your tongue to enforce your expectation for overflow.
Nothing will abort your overflow faster than negative, cynical and unscriptural words. You need to take care of your tongue if you want to take charge of your overflow. God gave you amazing power when he gave you power top speak because your confession greatly determines the future of your expectations. As a believer then, you must learn to speak what you want to experience and not speak what you are experiencing. Your words are carriers of power and conduits of greatness.
Don’t be careless with your words now and even in the future. Align the words you speak to what God has promised. Keep speaking out Gods promises even when nature contradicts what God has promised. The more you speak the word of God the more you build your expectation. The higher your expectation the more positive you will be as you wait on God to make all things beautiful in your life in His time. Your obedience is not full just because you do what God says, it becomes full when you say what God says. Say it until you cannot help but say it. There is a divine equation I want you to remember and it is this:
Obeying God’s word + Speaking Gods word = Full Obedience for Full overflow.
A Scripture to Remember.
“The power of life and death is in the tongue….” Proverbs 18:24.
An assignment to pray about and work through.
Speak forth the word of God boldly in your situations. For any area you want to see increase, find a promise in Gods word, speak it over that area until your heart and mind aligns with Gods promise and your expectation gets anchored on Gods word.
