Praise – Summoning the fullness of Gods presense

Praise –  Summoning the fullness of Gods presense

Praise creates a conducive environment for God’s presence. Overflow without Gods presence produces nothing but emptiness. One of the best ways to keep your faith in full throttle is to maintain an attitude of gratitude and praise. As you wait on God for overflow, there will be a tendency of the enemy to put on a spirit of heaviness on you to slow your momentum and appreciation of Gods goodness in your life.  When the enemy steals your praise, he has stolen your joy and when he steals your joy he has stolen your strength. You need strength to stand firm in God promises as you await Gods overflow in your life.

God has given us the weapon of praise to maintain our joy and strength in the midst of situations that are trying to convince us that the overflow is not coming. If you have been in deliverance church donholm for a while, you may have noticed that we are a church that is passionate about praise and worship. This is because we believe that Gods presence is key to everything about our destiny as children of God. There is no such thing as destiny outside Gods presence. The destiny of man is to worship God and enjoy him forever.

In addition to the vibrant praise and worship that we engage in during our services, you must learn to personally worship God. Corporate worship allows us to enjoy the presence of God corporately but personal worship allows you to enjoy God personally. Build a lifestyle of praise and gratitude in your daily activities and see God unleash His best in your life. God has this habit of investing his goodness in places where he is worshiped the deepest. We don’t worship God to get overflow, but as we worship God, His overflow is released, His blessings are unlocked!  Take some time to worship God in your devotional time. Take stock of what He has already done this week and allow praise to bubble up from your heart towards heaven.

A Scripture to Remember.

“God dwells in the praises of His people….” Psalms 22:3.

An assignment to pray about and work through.
